Savor Street Foods is a well-established and renowned pretzel bakery located in
Reading, PA. We take pride in producing high-quality, delicious pretzel products for our customers. As part of our dedicated team, we are seeking a motivated and
detail-oriented individual to join us as a Processing Monitor for third shift.
The Processing Monitor position at our pretzel bakery plays a crucial role in the
production process by ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and maintaining the consistent flow of ingredients. This position demands an individual with a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
Responsibilities:
● Machine Operation: Operate and oversee the machinery responsible for mixing
and dispensing ingredients into the production line's hopper.
● Ingredient Management: Monitor and maintain ingredient levels, ensuring a
continuous and precise flow of materials into the hopper. Refill ingredients as
necessary and follow set recipes and guidelines for proper measurements.
● Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that ingredients are
dispensed accurately and that the final product meets our quality standards.
Report any inconsistencies or issues to the supervisor.
● Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and tidy, following strict
sanitation and safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and
report any malfunctions or breakdowns to the maintenance team.
● Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, such as machine operators,
supervisors, and quality control personnel, to maintain a smooth and efficient
production process.
● Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all company policies, procedures, and
food safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality
product output.
Requirements:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Previous experience in a food production environment or a similar role is
preferred.
● Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
● Attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality standards.
● Physical capability to lift and move ingredients as required.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
● Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
